The mission of the Bluegrass Fish Keepers Association  is educate  the  novice  and  experienced  aquarist  in  the  fields  of raising,  breeding  and  showing  tropical  and  native  fish,  aquatic  plant propagating,  garden  pond  keeping  and  water-life  conservation.  We  provide  a welcome  environment  for  all  to  meet  and  exchange  information,  to  share experiences,  attend  monthly  programs  with  knowledgeable  speakers  from  around the  world,  Breeders  Award  Program, Bowl Shows, Grow out Competition and other  programs. Activities  such  as  field  trips,  shop  hops,  family  picnics  and  collecting  trips continue  to  keep  our  membership  strong  and  growing. All  of  this  is  made  possible,  largely,  with  the  help  from  donations from sponsoring companies and individuals like you.
